In higher education institutions of Opole region, 18.2 thousand students studied in 2022/23 academic year, i.e. by 0.3 thousand more than in the previous year and fewer by 4.8 thousand compared to 2015/16 academic year. 4.6 thousand students obtained a diploma  certifying the completion of higher education in the 2021/22 academic year, i.e. similarly to the year before and fewer by 3.1 thousand than in 2014/15 academic year.
