This year’s edition of Statistical Yearbook of Opolskie Voivodship, similarly to the previous ones, contains a rich set of information characterising living conditions of the society and the condition of the voivodship’s economy. Detailed statistical data are grouped into 21 thematic chapters.

Major indicators of the socio-economic characteristics of situation of the voivodship with respect to, among others, labour market, wages and salaries, prices, finance, agriculture, industry, constructions and trade.

The study presents basic information about concluded real estate purchase/sale transactions, their structure as well as transaction prices.

Quarterly information about labour market was compiled on the basis of generalised results of the representative Labour Force Survey (LFS), carried out in the 3rd quarter of 2025 compared to the results of these surveys from the previous quarter and corresponding periods of 2024 and 2020. The study contains information about i.a. economic activity level of population by demographic and social characteristics, employed and economically inactive persons. To generalise the survey results to the general population from the 4th quarter of 2023 data on the resident population from the balance sheets compiled from the results of the National Population and Housing Census 2021 were used. Data from the period from the 1st quarter of 2020 to the 3rd quarter of 2023 were recalculated according to the new basis for generalising the results, and are therefore comparable.
