Major indicators of the socio-economic characteristics of situation of the voivodship with respect to, among others, labour market, wages and salaries, prices, finance, agriculture, industry, constructions and trade.

The Yearbook is a continuation of the publication Statistics of Opole. Detailed statistical data are grouped in 15 thematic sections, which together describe demographic, social and economic situation of the city. An integral part of the Yearbook are review tables containing major data on Opole in the years 2010, 2015, 2020 and 2021 as well as selected information on Opole in comparison with the voivodship in 2021. The statistical material contains general notes with explanations regarding terminology, methodology and the scope of information. Statistical tables have been supplemented with charts, which have enriched the substantive content of the study.

There were 186.2 thousand buildings in the voivodship, in which there were 361.0 thousand dwellings. Their number increased in relation to 2011: by 6.2% and by 4.9%, respectively. According to preliminary results of National Population and Housing Census 2021 the number of dwellings and buildings equipped with particular installations and technical equipment increased compared to the results from National Population and Housing Census 2011.

Quarterly information about labour market was compiled on the basis of generalised results of Labour Force Survey (LFS), carried out in the 3rd quarter of 2022, compared to the results of these surveys from the previous quarter and corresponding periods of 2021 and 2010. The study contains information about i.a. economic activity level of population by demographic and social characteristics, employed and economically inactive persons. The study takes into account the recalculated LFS results for the years 2010–2020, according to changes introduced from 2021 in the definitions of main categories of persons on the labour market (the applicable definitions are included in the publication Labour force survey in Poland).
