The publication contains review tables on the voivodship in retrospection since 2000, as well as selected data on subregions and powiats in the years 2005 and 2016. Detailed statistics for 2016 by subregions, powiats and gminas have been presented in 16 thematic sections preceded by general notes. The results of statistical surveys carried out by official statistics services as well as data from administrative sources were the basis for the development of separate chapters. In addition to the publication’s contents, graphic illustrations of selected phenomena in the form of cartograms have been placed.

The publication contains a comparison of retail prices, expressed in euro, of selected consumer goods and services recorded in the Polish–Czech borderland in voivodships/regions: Opolskie, Olomoucký, Moravskoslezský and at the level of the countries: Poland and the Czech Republic.

The publication presents a wide collection of information characterising the social and economic situation of Opolskie Voivodship.
