Major indicators of the socio-economic characteristics of situation of the voivodship with respect to, among others, labour market, wages and salaries, prices, finance, agriculture, industry, constructions and trade.

The study presents data on the unemployed persons registered in powiat labour offices of Opolskie Voivodship in 2022 compared to 2021 as well as in relation to 2015. It contains the characteristics of unemployed persons i.a. by sex, age, education level, work seniority or duration of unemployment. It also presents data on the rotation of unemployed persons and the registered unemployment rate. Selected data have been presented in the cross section by powiats.

The publication presents information on entities of the national economy entered into the National Official Business Register REGON in Opolskie Voivodship, as of the end of December 2022. The study includes the characteristics of entities according to the legal status, ownership sectors, the predominant kind of activity as well as subregions, powiats and gminas.

Quarterly information about labour market was compiled on the basis of generalised results of the representative Labour Force Survey (LFS), carried out in the 4th quarter of 2022, compared to the results of those surveys from the previous quarter and corresponding periods of 2021 and 2010. The study contains information about i.a. economic activity level of population by demographic and social characteristics, employed and economically inactive persons. The study takes into account the recalculated LFS results for the years 2010-2020, according to changes introduced in 2021 in the definitions of main categories of persons on the labour market (the applicable definitions are included in the publication Labour force survey in Poland).
