Duties

Statistical Office in Opole belongs to the public statistics services subordinated to the President of the Central Statistical Office and acts on the basis of:

• the law dated 29th June 1995 on Public Statistics (Journal of Laws from 2023, item 773),
• Instruction No. 4 of the President of the CSO dated 21 March 2012 on detailed scale of duties and organization of the SO in Opole (CSO Office Journal dated 27 March 2012, item 14),
• the law dated 21st November 2008 on Civil Service (Journal of Laws from 2022, item 1691, with later amendments),

• dissemination by telephone, correspondence and personally:
  • - statistical data from publications of the CSO and the SO
    - official statements of the CSO and the SO
• informing about:
  • - new publications of the CSO and the SO,
    - publications accessible in the Library of the Office,
    - publications accessible on sale,
• receiving orders for:
  • - unpublished statistical data from SO data bases,
    - realisation of statistical description on the base of information published by the CSO and SO.
