One of the tasks of official statistics is to conduct work on the popularisation and promotion
of statistics and dissemination of knowledge of statistics.
Educational activities of the Statistical Office in Opole include, among others:

• conducting competitions on statistical knowledge,
• organising meetings at the office for students,
• conducting lessons

Educational activities aim to:

• familiarise students with the operation of the Office, including the publication offer,
• awareness of the importance of reliable statistical data,
• learn the proper interpretation of the data and statistical indicators,
• develop the ability to use statistical sources,
• training of conscious user of statistical data.
