The publication contains a rich set of information characterising living conditions of the society and the condition of the voivodship’s economy. Detailed statistical data are grouped into 22 thematic chapters. The study ends with two review tables containing major data on the voivodship in the years 2000, 2010, 2015 and 2020, as well as selected information about the voivodship in comparison with the country in 2020. The published statistical material has been supplemented with general notes explaining terminology, methodology and scope of information.

Compared to the previous edition, a change in the thematic layout of the Yearbook has been introduced, a chapter “Prices” has been included into the chapter “Trade”.
