In office buildings on the exterior walls are installed intercoms to allow a disabled person contact with employees in order to attend to matters in the office.
Since April 2012, there is also the possibility to use the assistance of a sign language interpreter.
According to the Act of 19 August 2011 on sign language and other means of communication (Journal of Laws No. 209, item. 1243) a person permanently or temporarily experiencing difficulties in communication has the ability to call in a sign language interpreter when dealing in office.
Intention of using the assistance must be reported to the office no later than 3 working days before the intended settlement.

Using an interpreter in the office is free only for the beneficiary, which is a disabled person within the meaning of the Act of 27 August 1997 on Vocational and Social Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Journal of Laws of 2011, No. 127, item. 721 and No. 171, item. 1016).
